Ibis Wakefield East-Castleford Hotel

What a shame this hotel is clearly falling apart! Hot water was nonexistent, just absurd for a hotel! And the pillows? Could they be dirtier, with hair on the bed too? Quite frankly, i was almost inclined to leave a decent review, but who offers zero hot water? Total disgrace. Im still waiting for an upgrade!

The long wait for breakfast and the cold cherry tomatoes overshadowed the overall experience. The proximity to attractions made it a convenient choice for a solo traveler.

The location perfect and nice to the festival.

Overall it was great-sized and newly remodelled with a sofa bed.

The rooms of our place were neat and airy with a sofa bed. The folks working here were pleasant and accommodating. The overall experience was very enjoyable, loved our stay very much and would definitely return.

Clean accommodations, good parking options, modern room design

Noisy neighbors disrupted sleep!!! Maintenance issues such as non-functioning electric sockets were unacceptable!!! Lack of clear signage made arrival confusing!!! Wi-Fi connectivity was unreliable!!! Check-in was frustrating due to poor organization!!!

Cozy stay with some hiccups

The room was nice and bright, and it had loads of charging spots which was super handy. The heating was easy to manage. But we had to wait ages for dinner cause the staff seemed a bit lost, and the portion sizes were kinda small. The bar/lounge area could use some more drink options too.

Despite a few annoying moments, the breakfast was superb. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the coffee was strong, just what I needed to start the day.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The room featured a modern design with a cozy atmosphere. Parking options proved convenient, ensuring an easy arrival and departure from the premises.

Noise from neighboring rooms distracted my sleep, as thin walls let in more chatter than I'd like. On top of that, the shower gel container was empty, and I found the cleanliness of the shower to be lacking. I also had to deal with non-functioning bedside lights, forcing me to choose between harsh overhead lights or complete darkness.

The room was decent with a good modern vibe. The bed was really comfy, and the air conditioning was a nice touch. Everything was clean, and I appreciated the smart TV and other tech. But, I heard some complaints from a couple next door about a faulty electrical issue, which must have been a bummer. It was a solid stay, especially for the price.
